Headache and Migraine Awareness

June is designated as Migraine Awareness Month and is an amazing opportunity to raise awareness for headaches and migraines. On average, 1 in 4 households deal with migraines within the United States. Migraines are more than just a bad headache that can have additional symptoms such as nausea, sensitivity to light and sounds, and head pain that's throbbing or pounding. Anyone that deals with headaches or migraines understand just how debilitating they can be.

Are you or someone you love struggling with headaches and/or migraines? Reach out to your primary care provider as they can help you diagnosis potential causes and find a treatment option that's right for you.

Aside from medications, migraines can be treated through a pain management approach as well. Carol Campbell, CRNA, offers Botox, greater occipital nerve blocks, and cervical injections all to help treat headaches and migraines.

"We all strive & deserve to live our best life possible, whatever that picture looks like for you." - Carol Campbell
