Top 5 in Minnesota for Patient Outcomes and Patient Satif
Slayton, Minnesota — Murray County Medical Center has been recognized as top 5 in Minnesota for both Patient Outcomes and Patient Satisfaction on the 2026 Lown Hospitals Index for Social Responsibility. The Patient Outcomes ranking reflects how well hospitals help patients recover and achieve positive health results, while the Patient Satisfaction ranking is based on feedback from patients about the quality of care and service they received.

The Lown Hospitals Index is the only national ranking that examines how equitably care is delivered, how well hospitals invest in their communities, and whether patients receive high-value care that avoids unnecessary procedures, in addition to clinical measures. More than 50 metrics contribute to a hospital’s overall score.
