Registered Dietitian Onsite to Provide Nutrition and Diabetic Education
At Murray County Medical Center, we know how much your health is affected by your nutrition which is why we strive to provide resources to help you on your health journey.
Nutrition
At MCMC our registered dietitian, Betsy Plotz, is determined to help you learn how to make healthy nutrition decisions catered to your individual needs. She meets with patients for varying nutritional reasons from helping patients manage diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, weight or other nutrition concerns. Whatever your challenge may be, she tries to find ways for you to improve your overall health and wellness.
Diabetes
The MCMC Diabetes Program is accredited by the American Diabetes Association and focuses on providing you the knowledge and skills to manage and take care of your diabetes. Our dietitian is also a diabetic educator who works cohesively with your providers to help determine the best plan and treatment options for you.
