Wound Care & Nurse Clinic

Wound Care Right in Your Community

Why we have a wound care clinic

If you or someone you know have chronic, non-healing wounds or is post-surgical ostomy, our Wound Care Team is here for you!

The human body naturally repairs itself when the skin or other tissues, parts or organs have been damaged. Sometimes, though, our bodies are dealing with underlying conditions that interrupt natural body repair such as: diabetes, infections, lack of mobility and poor blood circulation.

Patients have a place right here in their community that provides up-to-date treatments, such as:

  • Dressing Selections
  • Total Contact Cast
  • Debridement
  • Compression Wrappings
  • Wound Vacs and Education
  • ...And so much more

Our Wound Care Team partners with other healthcare professionals, like dietitians, vascular specialists, and therapies, for a better chance to heal when the treatment plan involves the whole body.

Jennifer Hillestad CNP, is a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner at Murray County Medical Center and specializes in wound care. Jennifer does our onsite wound care services along with our outpatient nursing staff.

We are here for you at every step of your healing journey!
