Why we have a wound care clinic
The human body naturally repairs itself when the skin or other tissues, parts or organs have been damaged. Sometimes, though, our bodies are dealing with underlying conditions that interrupt natural body repair such as: diabetes, infections, lack of mobility and poor blood circulation.
What is wound care?
Wound care nurses specialize in wound, ostomy and nurse care for patients who have wounds from disease or an injury. Our wound care services here in Slayton, MN, also provide post-surgical ostomy care. Ostomies are openings from surgery that allow draining and body fluid removal.
